Hi, I’m Abby Langenberg
I am a deeply curious human who believes in the power of
story and authenticity. This curiosity took me to Chicago, where I attended college for Spanish and Global Studies, and spent nearly a decade while hosting thirty-three
foreign exchange students from eleven different countries. This experience developed the foundation for how I understand and interact with humanity. It showed me how
diversity of thought and culture make the world a rich and vibrant place, fostered an intense appreciation for community, and pushed me to consider unique and innovative ways to build it.
After Chicago, I returned to my roots in Grand Rapids, and my journey into real estate started with investment properties and property management. I learned from experience as I managed both my short and long term rentals, which sparked a passion for hands-on work, and eventually led me into the world of construction. Now, as a licensed builder, I combine my real estate knowledge with practical experience in residential and commercial construction, along with affordable housing.
When I’m not working with clients or overseeing a build, you can often find me on my mountain bike, reading a book, or planning my next travel or camping adventure with my kids.
