With more than 25 years as an educator and 4 years of real estate experience, I am passionate about helping others reach their goals. Having recently made the move to Grand Rapids, I am excited to call The Local Element my new home away from home. I’ve found my footing over the past couple months while exploring some of GR’s favorite neighborhoods, as well as some of the hidden gems that make this area so special. As a newcomer myself, I understand what it feels like to learn all there is to know about a new area, discover new favorite spots, and create a cozy sense of home in an unfamiliar place. This makes me even more excited to help my clients do the same!

My passion for real estate recently became even more personal, as I guided my son through the steps of buying his first home. While I’ve always had a heart for helping first time home buyers navigate the excitement, emotions, information overload, and “Wait…what happens next?” moments that come with buying a home, helping my son was an extremely meaningful moment for me as both an agent and Mom. With my son beginning life on his own, and my daughter beginning her first year at MSU (Go Green!) I’m embracing this new chapter of life with plenty of time and energy to help my clients with their buying and selling needs.

After more than two decades in the classroom, I pride myself on being a strong listener, communicator, and organizer. When you work with me, you know you’re in good hands. When I’m not talking real estate, you can find me soaking in an early morning class at Kula Yoga or wandering the countless Grand Rapids neighborhoods, looking for my next favorite local food spot. I believe the best days include a bit of mindful movement, discovering through exploration (house hunting is my favorite!), a positive mindset, and of course some yummy food/drink. I also believe that when we work together, we can accomplish even the most challenging real estate goals while having a whole lot of fun making it happen.
