Our Top 10 Brunch Spots in Grand Rapids
Ok GR, it’s time to discuss a very serious topic: BRUNCH!
We know you guys are as passionate about local GR brunch as much as we are, and after a lot of consideration and input from you all on our socials, we have narrowed down a list of our top 10 brunch spots in the city! (plus a few honorable mentions ;))
We also have made a map of the brunch spots in Greater Grand Rapids for you to use the next time you’re feeling up for a good local brunch!
1. Wolfgangs
Wolfgangs is an Eastown classic that has been around for the past 41 years and has been blessing the GR community with an unbeatable menu ever since.
We can assure you that brunch at Wolfgangs is nothing short of fantastic and the menu is filled with favorites! They are open Mon-Fri from 6:30am-2:30pm and Sat & Sun from 7am-3pm.
2. Lucy's
Lucy’s is another renowned brunch spot located in the Creston neighborhood. They are known for their mimosas, breakfast cocktails, and creative menu. When you stop in, don’t forget to check out their specials, they are always amazing, without a doubt!
Lucys is open Wednesday-Sunday from 7am-3pm and you can dine in or pick up a bakery item or a coffee any time they are open!
3. SpeakEZ Lounge
Alright you guys, we actually learned about this UNBEATABLE spot from none other than our followers, and you guys were SO RIGHT! Speak EZ Lounge is truly a hidden gem located in the Belknap Lookout neighborhood with a brunch menu filled with classics, unique selections, and cocktails that will not disappoint!
Brunch is served every Saturday and Sunday from 10am-2pm! Make sure to tag us in your posts if you pay them a visit!
4. Mudpenny
You really cannot go wrong with Mudpenny! The employees are beyond hospitable, the food is to die for, and they definitely know how to sling up a good latte!
They have two locations, one in Roosevelt Park, and one in Ada! Brunch is served at the Roosevelt Park location Monday-Saturday from 7am-3pm (except they open at 8am on Saturdays) and it’s served at the Ada location Wednesday-Sunday from 7am-3pm (and opening at 8am on Sat and Sun).
5. San Chez Bistro
Let’s talk about San Chez brunch. They may be known for their tapas, but their more hidden gem of a brunch menu is sure to blow you away! And get a cute cocktail or mocktail with it, you won’t be disappointed!
Brunch is served at San Chez from 9am to 2pm every day they are open!
6. Forty Acres Soul Kitchen
Forty Acres brought back brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 12pm-3pm and we are pumped about it! Forty Acres Soul Kitchen is a Local Element favorite in general and we can assure you that their brunch is amazing!
Stop in for some mimosas and good American soul food any Saturday or Sunday!
7. Real Food Cafe
Real Food Cafe gives off ALLLL of the classic breakfast/brunch diner vibes and we absolutely are here for it! They have two locations in the GR area and both have amazing menus and the best food!
They are open everyday of the week to satisfy your cravings!! Open from 6am-2pm during the week and 7am-2pm on the weekends
8. Westside Social
You can get brunch at Westside Social on Sundays from 10am-3pm and you guys’ jaws will DROP when you see their menu. Warning: You may have a REALLY hard time deciding what to order!
Their interior is so cute and aesthetic, their menu is full of brunch favorites, and the vibes are seriously unmatched!
9. Nonnas: The Trattoria
Nonnas is located in Ada and is the cutest little hometown cafe. Nonnas is sophisticated but cozy and is a beloved spot in Ada Village! Shoutout to their avocado toast because theirs might just be our favorite!
Brunch is served on Saturdays from 7:30am-3pm and Sundays from 8am-2pm. They also serve breakfast everyday of the week from 7am-11am!
10. Matchbox Diner
This fantastic diner is named for its small size which makes it so incredibly adorable! Breakfast and lunch are served at Matchbox from open to 4pm daily and the options are endless!
You can reserve a table online and book a spot at Matchbox for your next brunch outing!
