Visit a cidery

Sitting outside under fairy lights and around fires sipping on a cider flight just screams Fall! Here are some great cideries we love in the West Michigan area:

-Farmhaus Cider

-Virtue Cider

-Painted Turtle Hard Cider

-Pux Cider

-Pink Barrel Cellars

-Frugthaven Farm Cidery

We visited The Orchards at Red Barn recently and have nothing but good reviews! Their U-pick apple orchard has some of the rares apples in Michigan to pick and they also have a corn maze, sunflower maze, petting zoo, playground, shopping, and food to enjoy while you’re there! Not to mention, it is home to Painted Turtle Hard Cider and you can enjoy a cider flight along with some amazing Fall recipes in the Red Barn!

If you are looking to visit one place for a fun Fall day, visit The Orchards at Red Barn!

Lewis Adventure Farm in New Era is gaining popularity every year as they add fun features and offer fun for the whole family! Their 700-acre playground is a highlight for the kiddos and they also have an amazing corn maze, fruit picking, cute Fall photo ops, fresh donuts and fall treats, and so much more! Visit the zoo there to encounter some unique furry friends as well!

Robinettes is THE number 1 recommendation for Fall Fun in Grand Rapids, ask any local and this is where they will tell you to visit! Enjoy a variety of activities there such as U-pick apples, wine tasting, tractor rides, petting zoo, jumping pillow, trail hikes, and more!

This spot in the outskirts of GR is the best! The farm is open all year round, but Fall is really our favorite time to visit. The Fall season at Ed Dunneback includes some of the following activities: U-pick apples, U-pick pumpkins, craft shows, Oktoberfest, Dogs n Donuts, Pumpkin Palooza, live music, and Trivia every Wednesday.

The Mums at Meijer Gardens are going on during the month of October and it is one of the largest exhibitions of its kind in Michigan. Visit the gardens in the month of Oct for mum displays, fall foliage, and family activities!

A Grand Rapids staple and one of the many events that sets our city apart, Art Prize 2024 is here! This annual international art competition is a celebration of ideas and inclusiveness and it’s also FREE!

Art Prize runs from Sept 13-28 in a variety of locations in Downtown GR.

Love a good scare? You can’t have a West Michigan Fall without a visit to The Haunt then! Visit their website to see when the select Kids Haunt days and Black Out haunt days are as well as when to visit!

If you love Halloween time and all the fun that comes along with it, putting Zoo Goes Boo on your bucket list is a MUST! Get your costumes on, trick or treat, and enjoy the decorations that line the zoo while also saying hi to the animals!
