With the launch of our Mid Michigan location last month, we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to highlight some of the fantastic camping spots you can find up in that area! And with the end of summer and fall approaching, having a camping weekend where you’re cozy around a fire at night and hiking trails during the day sounds absolutely amazing to us and hopefully does to you too!

#1 Chinook Campground

Chinook Campground is such a fun spot to camp with your friends and family in Grant Michigan. Not only do they have full hookup campsites, but they also have some super fun activities to enjoy! Some of the activities you can engage in at Chinook include:

-Swimming in the pool

-Disc golfing

-Sand volleyball

-Rent kayaks, paddle boards, or tubes

-Salmon and steelhead fishing

#2 Hillside Campground

Hillside Campground is located in Evart, Michigan and is more of a secluded and peaceful camping option. The campground is located on a spacious grassy area with a 2 acre pond. They offer both campsites and cabins for rental and a weekend, week, or longer stay at Hillside is sure to be relaxing!

There is also a trailhead where you can enjoy the seemingly endless trails on bike, ORV’s, or snomobiles.

#3 Mecosta Pines Campground

Looking for a family friendly campground where there are plenty of things to do? Mecosta Pines is the perfect place. They hold so many fun events including dance parties, karaoke nights, themed weekends, kids crafts, and so much more!

And not only do they hold fun events like the ones listed above, but they also have a ton of fun amenities to use such as a jump pad, mini golf, covered picnic area, swimming pool, and more. Not to mention, it sits on the Little Muskegon River which makes for absolutely beautiful scenery.

#4 River Ridge RV Resort and Marina

Let’s talk about a campground that is sure to wow you! River Ridge RV Resort and Marina is full of fun. Here are some of the things you’ll get to enjoy at River Ridge:
