Since it’s almost apple picking season, we had to add Cranes U-Pick Orchards to the list! We can already picture it, picking apples with a pup beside ya and getting the cutest pictures, then stopping at Crane’s Pie Pantry for a sweet treat on their outdoor patio afterwards!
Next up is the Getty Drive-In in Muskegon! The drive-in is such a fun thing to do in and of itself, but watching a movie with your dog by your side is even better! Pro tip: go to Kruse Park Beach first for sunset to add to your adventures for the evening!
The Windmill Island Gardens and Neil’s Dutch Village welcomes your pup! How fun would a walk through the tulips be with your pup, and bonus! They get to experience some of the West Michigan Dutch heritage!

A) Take a trip out to Grand Haven, and on your way to the beach, stop in the Downtown area to visit Must Love Dogs for a new toy and a treat! Then head to Grand Haven City Beach for the perfect sunset experience (with a lighthouse view in the background, bonus!)
B) The East Hills neighborhood of Grand Rapids is calling your name! Furniture City Creamery not only has the perfect patio to enjoy, but also has the perfect pup cup to chow on! Plus, you’re only a short walk away from some shops that allow your pup to join in on the browsing like Commune and Books and Mortar, if you want to continue your adventure!
C) Our favorite place to walk with our pup in West Michigan is the Grand Ravines, and your pup is also sure to love the scenery here! Chase butterflies, meander over the bridge and down by the river, and maybe even spot an Eagle! If you’re feeling social, there’s even an enclosed dog park to enjoy!
D) One of the biggest hot spots to hang out with other pup friends is the brand new Wahlfield Dog Park in Comstock Park! This is a 10-acre, fully enclosed, off-leash dog park with designated areas for both big and small dogs to socialize and play! Plan your outing now, and afterward, stop for a drink at another great pup-centric spot in Comstock Park at The Pack!
E) Enjoy a great doggie patio moment in Belmont at Archival Brewing! They have a beautiful biergarten with yard games to enjoy, fire pits, and more – both you and your pup are going to have a blast!
