The local businesses that make Grand Rapids home are nothing short of amazing and make for a great date night, night out with friends and family, or just a solo date (because hey, you deserve it!) Here’s a list of ten great outdoor patios we’re loving in 2024 so far!
Gin Gin's
This new restaurant to Bridge St is owned by Butchers Union, a fan favorite, and Gin Gin’s is about to be the latest and greatest favorite to the Grand Rapids community! Pictured above is the patio space and the greenery hanging and the European vibe is SO perfect!
El Cerrito
Are you ready to try the best tacos and margaritas EVER?? Don’t look further, El Cerrito in Eastown is seriously in our top 10 restaurants in Grand Rapids and they have a great outdoor patio space as well! On a sunny summer night, this is everything we’re craving!
The Winchester
The outdoor patio space at this sophisticated Wealthy St restaurant is nothing short of charming! The food at The Winchester is great and gets only the best reviews and they also have a bar with endless options and fun featured cocktails!
The Score
When sitting outside at The Score you can imagine you’re in any tropical place around the world (I truly felt like I was sitting at a restaurant down in FL while I was there!) because there are REAL palm trees all around you! The sandy ground also makes it unique and there are sand volleyball courts there as well where you can join a league and play.
Horrocks Market
The outdoor patio at Horrocks Market is a DREAM!! Grab some snacks and food from inside the market, grab you people, and grab a glass of wine and enjoy their dining spaces! They also have events on a regular basis and host live music and food trucks for you to enjoy!
Donkey Taqueria
A full service bar + Mexican food + Margarita slushies + a fantastic patio = WHAT MORE COULD YOU WANT!? Donkey Taqueria is located on Wealthy St in one of the many hot spots of Grand Rapids making for a perfect place to stop for dinner and walk around before or after to some of the local shops nearby!
Brick and Porter
Looking for a little patio space right in the heart of Downtown Grand Rapids? Maybe your heading to a concert nearby or attending an event Downtown, or maybe you’re just wanting to visit the Downtown area and walk along the river. Brick and Porter is seriously perfect!
The Green Well
Who wants to dine out on a beautiful patio and bring your pup along! The Green Well is the perfect neighborhood eatery to do just that, they just ask that you lead your pup out to the patio by using the back entrance. They even have a spot on their website to join their waitlist for the patio specifically!
Carolina Low Country Kitchen
Southern food is their specialty and enjoying it on their outdoor patio makes it all the more special! Carolina Low Country Kitchen is a fantastic eatery located in the heart of East Grand Rapids, just a walk away from the gorgeous Reeds Lake! This definitely must be on your bucket list for this summer!
Hancock
This go to chicken spot in GR has a beautiful patio with outdoor games available to play and umbrellas on the tables for when you visit on a super sunny day! The chicken is amazing but you also need to try the slushie flights and the waffle fries because they are out of this world!
